Argentine Tango Basics I is the very basis of what tango is all about. Whether you are a complete Argentine Tango newbie or an experienced tango dancer or anywhere in between, come to this 6-week series to learn or refresh your tango skills.
In this class, we discover, taste, and try out the basic concepts and movements of Argentine Tango. Class Time: 1 hr.

Week 1 - Tango Posture, Body Axis, Connection, steps Forward, Side, & Back with Intention in Practice Embrace.
Week 2 - The Tango Walk to Music. Open Embrace.
Week 3 - Baldosa Step.
Week 4 - Walking in 2 or 4 tracks with disassociation in Open Embrace.
Week 5 - 8-step Tango Basic with Argentine Cross
Week 6 - Series review.
No previous dance experience or partner necessary. Registration required for the whole series. No walk-ins after the 2nd class. Series Prices: |
