Class Materials to be Covered: Dynamic and Elasticity of tango embrace Open step versus cross step Medialuna Changes of direction in parallel and cross systemsBasics of musicality Prerequisite: Argentine Tango Basics or similar courses. Ability to lead and/or follow tango walk, 8-step basic and ocho figures in parallel and cross systems Registration is required for the whole series. No walk-ins after the 2nd class. Series Prices: Footwear: Socks or shoes with leather or suede soles or Dance Socks for smooth floors over not too bulky sneakers. No street shoes on the studio floor. ![]() In this series, we will work on improving your tango technique, vocabulary, and musicality by challenging you to learn and correctly execute a complex tango combination This series is for those who have completed all Pre-Intermediate Tango courses with us or elsewhere and familiar already with basic tango steps and more advanced concepts such as sacadas, barridas, wraps, and ganchos. Class Time: 1hr. Class material to be covered: * Tango Basics review and drills Series Prices: What to wear: Light, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move without restrictions.
